The Girls Lynn Hurricanes and the Boys Lynn Strikers each recieved a high honor as the MTOC State Sportsmanship for their divisions.  This is a great reflection on the parents, coaches and players of each team. The committee informed me that throughout the tournament wins and losses that these teams, coaches and parents were exemplary in their attitude and play. Not all divisions get this award. This is a serious award voted on by all 11 Leagues in the state and one that has eluded Lynn in my years.  It was an honor to personally award them their MOTC sportsmanship t-shirts.
